The following are my available Relationship and Skills Class listings plus Panel style forums I offer. 

Open Conversations: Age, Race, Gender, & Gender Presentation

Class style & structure: Facilitated Discussion

Level: Novice, 101, open to all.

Time: 60-90 minutes

Content: This guided discussion of scattered personal experiences, observed scenarios from various social media, and short exercises to magnify the impact differences among us.  A facilitated discussion on topics that can be uncomfortable to approach regardless of where you fall in the age, race, gender, or gender presentation spectrum we request your participation. This is an ongoing conversation that participants can take with them and continue their own growth, local groups, and society at large.

3xL: Lust, Love, Leather

Class style & structure: Part lecture, part hands-on. The presentation style is interactive dialog. The hands-on and the interactive dialog is encouraged, but not mandatory. The introvert, note takers, and generally shy folks are welcome and their desire to watch quietly is respected.

Level: Novice, 101, open to all

Time: 60-120 minutes, content adjusted to your time format

Content: Lecture portion discusses history of leather in the US with documented and source identifiable information. A focus on several US Regions showing how defining leather and traditions are influenced. Leading to a basic exploration about the touch, the taste, the scent of leather and a journey into the mindset of a bootblack. Participants will be guided through the first steps in the path of a novice boot black. Learn about basic Boot Blacking etiquette and the items needed for a start-up shine kit. At the end there is a hands on practice section for the adventurous types in basic care. You are encouraged to bring your boots or other small leather garment and get ready to get your hands dirty as we apply the basic how to’s of caring for your essential leather.

 

POWER EXCHANGE RELATIONSHIPS: Outside the Box

Class style & structure: The presentation style is a mix of lecture with interactive dialog. Discussion participation is highly encouraged, but not mandatory. A hand-out is provided for note taking and written exercises offered. The introvert, note takers, and generally shy folks are welcome and their desire to watch quietly is respected.

Level: Novice, 101, open to all. A good pre-course for the “KEEPING IT REALER THAN MOST: Negotiating a Relationship”

Time: 60-90 minutes

Content: Are you interested in a power exchange relationship but confused about what type of dynamic works for you or have concerns about how to define it? How can you make a hierarchical relationship work when you don’t fit neatly in one “box”? These questions and more will be answered while giving an overview of the various types of dynamics, and focusing on finding a dynamic, traditional or non-traditional that reflects your actual relationship, and not some box or stereotype.

 

KEEPING IT REALER THAN MOST: Negotiating a Relationship

Class style & structure: Lecture, with hand-outs and written exercises offered. The presentation style includes light interactive dialog. The hands-outs are provided to all and participation with the written exercises are encouraged, but not mandatory. The introvert, note takers, and generally shy folks are welcome and their desire to watch quietly is respected.

Level: Intermediate 201, requires a basic understanding of BDSM dynamics, roles, and styles/types of play

Time: 60-90 minutes

Content: This class is for BDSM practitioners who are looking to go beyond “negotiating a scene” and wish to have a relationship. You’ve been doing this for a minute and are hooked. You have gotten to that point where you not want, but need this as a proponent or even the core of your relationship. How do we find who and what we need? From Part-time to 24/7 and from Inclusive vs. exclusive to Consensual Non-Consent negotiations. Lecture overviews Knowing oneself, your Dynamic, finding your Dark Knight, Compatibility, and Verifying the information.

 

WHO’S YOUR DADDY? Daddy/girl relationships

Class style & structure: The presentation style is lecture with interactive dialog and group discussion & questions highly encouraged, but not required. The introvert, note takers, and generally shy folks are welcome and their desire to watch quietly is respected.

Level: Novice, 101, open to all.

Time: 60-90 minutes

Content: Are Daddy/girl relationships a new trend or is this an old idea that has only recently become more visible to the BDSM Het normative groups? Here we will answer what a Daddy is and does, and other questions like can my Daddy also be a Dominant, or a Master? Is this role play or can it be my power exchange dynamic? We will also look at the little letter side of the equation. Am I a little, a middle, or a tween? Is this age play, incest, and/or pedophilia?  What is a non- age play relationship? Good Daddy vs. Bad Daddy and Good girls vs. Brats. Plus signs of predators and how to protect yourself from harm.  The end goal is to help people gain a better understanding of this often misunderstood structure/dynamic.

 

LEATHER VOICES: Memory Circle

Class style & structure: Memory Circles are facilitated discussions in a panel setting. Limited questions are taken from the audience. The vision of Leather Voices of NYC is to make the collected oral histories and memory circles available to the public through a variety of sources and formats.

Date & Time: Memory Circles need a lead time of 2months advance booking. Location and specific date TBD per event with a standard time of 90 -120 minutes

Level: Open to all

Content:  This project is a mission to record and preserve individual oral histories and memory circles of small groups and families living in the events region/nearby surrounding neighbors. The intense focus being on preserving voices from the Leather, BDSM, and fetish diaspora.

Each Memory Circle is a golden opportunity to hear and capture the journeys, observations, and evolution of a cross section of the people who brought the BDSM/Leather community to what it is this day.

 

DADDY vs. MASTER (Only Offered in NYC at this time)

Class style & structure:  A facilitated discussion in a panel setting.  An open debate on the distinction between the two, the overlap between the roles, and the ability to transition from one to the other. Limited questions are taken from the audience.

Time: 60-90 minutes

Level: Open to all

Content:  The vision is to give audience members a better understanding from both the Daddy/Master and the girl/slave how these two dynamics can fuse, overlap, and work independently successfully.
